It’s always left a weird smeary residue behind on my windshield. I try to use the cheap huge jugs of the dark-green stuff they sell instead.

i used 2 cases last year.

this year i bought a case of the Reflex ice -49 for less than 15$(i think) 2-3 weeks ago at Candiantire on special of course

http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/reflex-49-c-windshield-washer-fluid-3-78-l-0294120p.html#srp

like seat safety switch said i don’t like the hase the rain-x leaves on for a few seconds, so far the reflex is good.

The -40 C rating got me curious because here in MURRICA the winter Rain-X washer fluid is -25 F, which isn’t quite as cold as that.

Then I went on Amazon and it has terrible reviews, people talking about it fouling up their washer fluid level sensors, gunking up the lines, creating a crappy film on the windshield that makes it hard to see through, etc.

I’ve used it for years and never had an issue with the sensors, but now that I think about it, I do kinda always have a hazy windshield, and on my 335xi I’ve used a couple different kind of wiper blades that have both chattered like crazy.

Might have to switch back to the regular stuff.

I figured for the price it be worth a try. If I don’t like it, I know people who would use it.
